Resumen

El contexto actual en el que nos desenvolvemos nos ha llevado a tener un crecimiento urbano no planeado de la mejor forma y solo preocupado por crecer la mancha urbana por necesidad más que de manera holística para los ciudadanos. Esto conlleva a tratar de pensar en una reconfiguración urbana entorno al ciudadano y su calidad de vida, es por eso que este articulo hace un análisis de literatura referente a herramientas de sistemas de información geográfica (SIG) y planeación urbana con el fin de poner bases sólidas para una futura investigación.
