Generación z y sostenibilidad: estudio bibliométrico y estrategias para el negocio

Resumen

El documento expone un estudio acerca de la conexión entre la Generación Z y la sostenibilidad, fundamentado en la revisión de 303 publicaciones científicas indexadas en Scopus desde 2015 hasta 2025. Además, esta investigación lleva a cabo un análisis bibliográfico de los 10 artículos más citados y analiza las tendencias en los estudios sobre cómo se ha tratado a la Generación Z en el campo de la sostenibilidad, tratando asuntos como el consumo consciente, el turismo sustentable y la implementación de tecnologías ecológicas. El estudio evidencia un incremento sostenido en la producción científica, con un crecimiento significativo desde 2022. En términos geográficos, Estados Unidos tiene el mayor número de publicaciones, seguido por India, Italia y China, respectivamente. Las editoriales más activas en la difusión de estos estudios son MDPI y Emerald Publishing. Además, el estudio utiliza la herramienta VOSviewer v1.6.20. Se observa, entre los 10 autores más citados, diversidad de temas, pero con una tendencia hacia una comprensión del comportamiento del consumidor de la Generación Z en relación con la sostenibilidad.
