Resumen

El propósito de la presente investigación es definir
los elementos clave del marco teórico para el análisis
de los factores que inciden en el nivel de confianza
de los ciudadanos en sus gobiernos locales. El
resultado de este trabajo es el establecimiento de una
encuesta que será la base para la elaboración de una
segunda etapa de la investigación, en donde se
desarrollará un análisis cuantitativo sobre la
importancia de dichos factores que inciden en el
nivel de confianza. La deficiente cantidad de
investigaciones y análisis sobre la problemática tanto
a nivel de Latinoamérica y particularmente de
Ecuador, justifica plenamente esta investigación.
