Circular Economy Practices in Manufacturing Companies in Aguascalientes

This research aimed to determine if manufacturing companies in the state of Aguascalientes have implemented circular economy practices in their processes. The dimensions of design and production, consumption, and collection and recycling of resources were considered, as well as the approximate number of employees in the companies, to determine the level of adoption of these practices and if there is a relationship between them. It was a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional research; Data was collected from a convenience sample of manufacturing companies and the results were that circular economy practices are, for the most part, considered for implementation and dissimilar results were obtained in the correlation between the number of employees and economy indicators. circular: adopting a life cycle management approach, designing products that can be updated, repaired, refurbished or remanufactured and recycling production waste and reusing it as an input. The conclusions are that, for manufacturing companies in the state of Aguascalientes, circular economy practices are considered for implementation, and there are some indicators of these practices showing a moderate correlation with the size of the company, while others do not present this relationship.
