The negotiation of international trade agreements, despite the sudden resurgence of certain types of protectionist forces in the present, continues to be a constant in economic relations and international business, in this document we analyze the problems that small and medium-sized Mexican companies they face in the following topics a) the onerous customs procedures that apply to them, b) the difficulties to establish offices or subsidiaries abroad, c) the obstacles to process international payments, d) the onerous foreign regulations for their businesses, e) taxes payable abroad, f) intellectual property rights, g) financing for its operations abroad, h) high costs for the international transport of its merchandise, i) the visa problem for its executives After reviewing each of these problems, suggestions are made about how international solutions to these issues could be negotiated in the next international trade agreements where the Mexican government intervenes.
