The objective pursued with the development of the research is to analyze the evolution of the concept of professionalization in the municipal public administration, through identifying the importance of the competence management resource management as necessary so that public servants can fully comply with their Functions and perform their positions with full responsibility. As well as to verify the influence of the competition in the level of professionalization, through the use of the corresponding methodology to obtain results. In this way, to verify that the professionalization is an increasingly important element in the municipal public administration.
