Transcendental future is usually conceived of as those events or situations that may happen after the end of earthly life. In human beings, thinking about transcendence could have profound implications in behavior in general, and in organizational behavior in particular. This study´s objective was to explore the associations between transcendental future time perspective and three constructs that are key to organizational behavior, and which have a significant influence of subjective future: knowledge hoarding, organizational justice, and psychological contract breach. In this quantitative-typed research, the method was correlational and cross-sectional. The data were collected through an online survey (n=125), and they were analyzed using structural equation modeling in LISREL. It was found that only the relationship between transcendental future time perspective and knowledge hoarding was positive and significant. Organizations should try to better align their interest with those of their employees so that these would also strive for transcendence through their legacy in the work and the organization.
