Entrepreneurship, Young population, Multiple Correspondence AnalysisAbstract
We seek to analyze the sociodemographic characteristics of university students in the state of Guerrero, in order to identify the profile of young entrepreneurs, as well as to investigate whether entrepreneurial activity is a mechanism for successful insertion into the labor market or whether it is only a form of survival in the absence of employment opportunities. to this end, we propose to use the method of multiple correspondence analysis through a descriptive non-experimental research applied to a population of 3650 students where the non-probabilistic method called snowball was applied to determine the sample and a universe of 356 answered surveys was obtained, the results show that, to a certain extent, the ideal situation of entrepreneurship enunciated under the theoretical precepts is refuted, since in the case of young people from Guerrero it is deduced that entrepreneurial activity emerges as a form of survival rather than a way to exploit the environment for business, personal motivation and physical and intellectual capacities.
