Seeing to contribute to a quality education in Business Schools, this reflective research on the role of its teachers seeking to understand how they teach. This can be interpreted from the theory of the Teaching Approaches, which are built with the strategies and motivations that teachers have about their practice, criteria two positions: one focused on teaching (ECE) and another focused on conceptual change (ECC). We sought to know the preference of approach that teachers use, starting from an exploratory study with the Teaching Approaches Questionnaire (Monroy Hernández, 2013) applied to 56 teachers. The result, although it showed a preference for the EEC Approach (67%), also resulted in a third approach: balanced. Although the result agrees with the Educational Model, it is necessary to research and work with more variables to obtain information on the influence of the discipline on teaching.
