Análisis comparativo entre criptomonedas y el dinero fiduciario

Thanks to advances in technology it has been possible to count on the arrival of virtual currencies, also called cryptocurrencies that have gained notoriety in recent years. The objective of this paper is the descriptive analysis between the most famous cryptocurrency called Bitcoin and Fiat money, mainly studying its origins, functioning and volatility, that is, knowing both its theoretical base and its practical behavior in the markets. The empirical application focuses on the behavior that was explained in recent years with respect to certain relevant variables.
