Teamwork in the classroom is a method of learning highly applied in business schools today, due to the present need of efficient work teams that provide beneficial results for them. The performance of the teams in the classroom depends on several factors, this work aims to analyze the influence of the theoretical stages of team development, the achievement of goals, the application of rules and the classification of teams and groups in the performance of both tasks and affective of a university group according to their opinions on the experience. The results showed that the factor with the greatest influence on performance is the classification of teams and groups
