Antiplagiarism Policy

The journal VinculaTégica Efan establishes as an indispensable requirement that the research papers submitted must be unpublished and original. Under no circumstances will papers that have been partially or totally published in other dissemination spaces be accepted. Likewise, the works must not be simultaneously evaluated in other editorial processes.

To this end, the Anti-plagiarism Policy must contain the following guidelines:

      1. The submitted papers must be previously reviewed in Turnitin.
      2. The editorial committee will provide authors with access to the Turnitin platform to run the similarity test.
      3. Any paper with more than 20% similarity will not be submitted for peer review.
      4. Those papers that meet this requirement should be submitted and will be evaluated by a referee committee (blind peer review process), and the notification of the result of the arbitration will be sent via email.
      5. The originality report must be uploaded to the OJS platform.

The Vinculategica journal uses the OAI-PMH interoperability protocol to facilitate the harvesting and exchange of metadata with other platforms and information services. This policy applies to all users and entities that desire to harvest metadata from the journal using the OAI-PMH protocol. The principles and guidelines of this policy are detailed below:
    1. Access to the OAI-PMH Protocol: Vinculategica Journal provides access to the OAI-PMH protocol through its public web interface. The base access point for the OAI-PMH protocol is Vinculategica OAI.
    2. Metadata format: Vinculategica Journal supports the Dublin Core (oai_dc) metadata format for harvesting via the OAI-PMH protocol. Metadata in Dublin Core format contains basic information about articles published in the journal, including titles, authors, abstracts, and links to full text.

Digital Preservation Policy

The VinculaTégica Efan journal is committed to preserving its content through the use of the PKP Preservation Network (PN) CLOCKSS and LOCKSS licenses, with the aim of guaranteeing the availability and accessibility of its content in the long term, even in the event that the online platform suffers some kind of interruption or failure.

These licenses are a digital content archiving system that allows for secure, permanent, and geographically distributed backups. This policy applies to all works published in the journal.

This digital preservation policy seeks to ensure that the journal's content is available in the long term so that it is accessible to future generations of researchers and scholars. It also ensures that authors of papers published in the journal retain their copyright and that their work can be retrieved and used in the future.

PKP Preservation Network (PN)

The PKP Preservation Network provides free preservation services for any OJS journal that meets the basic criteria. In this regard, for digital preservation, Vinculategica EFAN articles are archived in LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), thus guaranteeing the journal a permanent and secure archive.

LOCKSS

Vinculategica EFAN magazine supports the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system which guarantees the magazine a permanent and secure archive. LOCKSS is an open source program developed by the Stanford University Library that allows libraries to preserve selected web journals by regularly searching registered journals to collect newly published content and archive it. Each archive is continuously validated against records from other libraries, so any damaged or lost content can be restored using those records or the journal itself.

Archived issues can be found in the LOCKSS Editorial Manifesto (https://vinculategica.uanl.mx/index.php/v/gateway/lockss). In this way, articles are progressively archived, ensuring that the stored digital information can remain and continue to be used in the future.

CLOCKKS

Vinculategica EFAN also supports the CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to ensure a permanent and secure archive for the journal. CLOCKSS is based on the open source LOCKSS software developed at Stanford University Library, which allows libraries to preserve selected web journals by regularly checking registered journal websites for recently published content and archiving it. Each archive is constantly validated against other library caches, and if it is detected that content has been corrupted or lost, the other caches or the journal is used to restore it.

Archived issues can be found in the CLOCKSS Editorial Manifesto (https://vinculategica.uanl.mx/index.php/v/gateway/clockss). In this way, articles are progressively archived, ensuring that the stored digital information can remain and continue to be used in the future.
