El propósito de la presente investigación es analizar, de acuerdo a la literatura y estudios aplicados existentes, cuales son factores clave que inciden en el desempeño de manufactura considerando que este elemento es fundamental para la estrategia de abastecimiento. Al respecto se ha determinado que factores clave que podrían tener impacto en el desempeño de manufactura son: el involucramiento de proveedor, la flexibilidad de proveedor, la integración de compras y el outsourcing de manufactura. La investigación incluye un registro de los ítems de cada variable en cuestión que podrán tomarse en cuenta para la colaboración de una encuesta que podra ser aplicada en el caso de empresas del sector electrodoméstico en el noreste de México.
