The objective of this study is to carry out a comparative analysis of the factors that affect the innovation of MSEs in the municipality of Pátzcuro, Michoacán, Mexico, during the years 2022 and 2023. This research is carried out under a quantitative, transversal and descriptive approach, where two data collection instruments with a five-point Likert scale validated using SPSS v27 software are applied, in the aforementioned periods, as part of the work carried out in collaboration with the Latin American Studies Network in Administration and Business (RELAYN). Of which, the corresponding Items referring to innovation were analyzed and selected, with the purpose of identifying the factors that affect the product, service and/or process of the company. The results show that according to the Chi square statistic for comparison of proportions allows the acceptance of the null hypothesis Ho "All proportions of innovation activities are equal in the mypes of Pátzcuaro, Michoacán" for the year 2023 and according to this parameter, for the year 2022 the contrast hypothesis is accepted “Not all proportions of innovation activities are equal in the MSEs of Pátzcuaro, Michoacán.
