Within universities, there are anonymous students with vulnerabilities who develop inherent, often largely invisible, challenges. This study focuses on one of these groups to determine the effect of resilience on stress among working university students. The research is quantitative, cross-sectional, non-experimental, and uses a non-probability sample. In the second semester of 2023, a survey was conducted at a business school in southern Tamaulipas. Subsequently, a simple linear regression was applied using SPSS software to evaluate the effect of resilience on stress. The descriptive statistics reveal a socio-economic-demographic profile of the study participants, providing context for the phenomenon. The results demonstrate a significant negative impact of resilience on stress. Conclusion: While the stress experienced by students is mitigated by their resilience, academic and governmental institutions cannot shirk their responsibility to create a more supportive environment for this group of students.
