The objective of this investigation was to know if the investments in the Bitcoin are really risky or not, and to know more about this new market of Virtual Currencies. This research was carried out in a documentary way, analyzing the information available in the field in order to find the main cause of uncertainty in this international market, and to know its main advantages and disadvantages, with this to identify if they are risky or not, and thus be able to help readers to have a better and simpler idea, about this market to know if the investment will turn out or not. The results showed that investing at this time in Bitcoins is not the best option, but in the future, not too far away, this market will be more stable and secure to make any type of investment and transaction.
