Work gratitude, work passion, harmonious passion, obsessive passionAbstract
The most valuable resource for companies is their employees. Factors such as gratitude, recognition, initiative and enthusiasm contribute significantly to organizational success. The objective of this research was to analyze whether gratitude is related to the work passion (harmonious and obsessive) of employees working in the maquiladora export industry. The research study had a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational approach. A non-probabilistic sample of 105 participants working in the medical export industry located in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, was selected. The collected data was analyzed with SPSS statistical software. The results show that, in the context of the study, job satisfaction is positively, significantly and strongly related to harmonious passion. In contrast, the relationship with obsessive passion is also positive and significant, but weak.
