Soft skills are crucial for success in project management, especially in complex and changing contexts where more than just technical knowledge is required. Abilities such as assertive communication, leadership, empathy, adaptability, and time management are essential for facilitating collaboration, resolving conflicts, and making strategic decisions. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of the scientific production on soft skills applied to project management, using the Scopus database. It identifies the main research trends, the most influential authors, leading institutions, countries with the highest scientific output, and the most frequently used keywords. The results reveal a growing academic interest in the topic, reflected in the increase in publications over the past decade, particularly in developed countries. Research highlights skills such as leadership, effective communication, and teamwork as key elements in project leadership. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the importance of integrating these competencies into professional training in order to enhance team performance and improve project effectiveness in dynamic and competitive environments.
